Who we are

Jauntily Macabre is an independent studio and shop. These terms apply to every purchase made through this site and to your use of the site itself. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in US dollars. We do our best to keep prices and availability accurate, but if a listing turns out to be wrong we will contact you before shipping and you may cancel for a full refund. An order is accepted when we send the shipping confirmation, not the order confirmation. We may decline an order at our discretion, for example where fraud is suspected, and will refund it in full if we do.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Delivery estimates, costs, and the 30-day return policy are set out on the Shipping & Returns page and the Refund Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

Gift cards

Gift cards are delivered by email, never expire, carry no fees, and can be used across multiple orders. They cannot be redeemed for cash except where the law requires it.

Intellectual property

Every design, illustration, character, and piece of text on this site and on our products is the copyright of Jauntily Macabre. Buying a product gives you the physical object, not a licence to reproduce the artwork. You may photograph and share our products freely; you may not reproduce, resell, or print the designs. Licensing enquiries are welcome through the contact page.

Use of the site

You agree not to interfere with the site, scrape it at volume, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access to anyone who does.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, and any dispute will be heard in its courts, without prejudice to consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the date you place an order.
